Course Description

This course is an introduction to Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). We will examine the technical foundation of ICTs such as the internet, mobile phones, digital video, telephony, peer-to-peer networks, and other emerging network technologies. We will also address how these technologies are shaped by, and how they influence, society. No previous technical experience is required.
